We wither away sick without it and yet a bit too much in the wrong place and it can kill us. Yet, it is probably one of the most unoticed and mundane appetites you and I have daily...
Its actually a pretty cool concept. Thirst that is. It could be said you don't die from thirst. Yup thats right, you don't die because you are thirsty. You die because your body doesn't have the water it needs to take care of essential bodily functions. Thirst is simply this drive and appetite that you and I have that says and sometimes screams, "YOU'RE GETTING LOW ON H2O!", "YOU NEED A DRINK!", "STOP AT THAT WATER FOUNTAIN!" Thirst it turns out, is a good thing. It helps us, its healthy and its important.
What does God's word say about thirst? How do the writers in scripture use thirst to explain their point?
